We cover the entire Louisville area, Prospect, parts of Oldham ,Spencer and Shelby County, Clark and Floyd County

3. What is included in a basic cleaning?

Our cleaning professionals use a standardized cleaning checklist for each job. Your purchase is a contract with your cleaning team to complete the items on checklist.

4. Will I need basic cleaning or deep cleaning?

If you are a first time customer and haven’t had your house cleaned professionally or thoroughly in the past 30-60 days , we recommend you book a deep cleaning for your first clean. The deep cleaning goes further to get rid of dirt, grime, soap scum, and other gunk around your home. It’s a more thorough service than the standard cleaning.

5. How much will it cost?

We base your price on the total number of bedrooms and bathrooms and sq ft- this gives you a simple and instant quote without worrying about paying extra if the job takes longer.

6. Can you do hourly service rates?

We will service and charge hourly rates for custom cleaning requests like e.g. one room or area only, odd cleaning request, recleaning from a different company that did the initial cleaning and basic recurring maintenance cleaning for big houses.

  • The payment structure will be:

Initial Payment:

  • The customer will be charge an initial payment of $120+tax  for one cleaner and $180+tax  for 2 cleaners for the first 2 hours of cleaning.
  • Customers will provide basic information on what type of cleaning they are requiring with possible photos and will write these in the notes section either for Provider Notes or Additional notes section.
  • The rate succeeding after the first 2 hours shall be $10 per 15-minute increment or $40 per hour.
  • The payment shall be calculated based on the actual time spent cleaning, rounded up to the nearest 15-minute increment based on Booking Koala Time Log by the Provider
  • Payment Calculation: If the Cleaner spends exactly 15 minutes or less on a cleaning task, the customer shall be charged for one 15-minute increment at the agreed rate of $10.
  • If the Cleaner spends more than 15 minutes but less than or equal to 30 minutes on a cleaning task, the customer shall be charged for two 15-minute increments, totaling $20

7. Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products?

Absolutely! You will not need anything except running water and working electrical outlets plus a step ladder for hard to reach areas.

1. Do you send reminders when you’re on your way ?

Our platform will automatically email you 48 hours and 24 hours  before your booking. You will be notified by SMS when the cleaner is on their way.

2. What is the 2-hour arrival window?

We have an “arrival window” of 2 hours to account for unpredictability of traffic, parking, and previous bookings taking longer than expected. For reference, about 50% of the time your cleaner will, arrive in the first hour.

3. How many cleaners do you send?

For 1-3 bedroom homes, we usually send 1 cleaner. Sometimes there will be 2 for training purposes .
For 4+ bedroom homes we will try to send a team of 2( sometimes more if there are trainees present).

4. Do you use green cleaning products?

For an extra $20 we will use only green cleaning products. Just select ” green cleaning” from our extras on the booking page or tell us on the phone.

5. How are you able to ensure the quality of your service? 

When you purchase a service, a checklist comes along with it. Our cleaners are required to go through the checklist and follow them. We also ask you prior to the cleaning is completely done to go through the checklist and remind the cleaners of areas we missed so we are able to leave your home a cleaner place!

6. What if my house is extremely dirty or has bedbug,cockroach or rodent infestation ?

In the event we arrive at your property and the condition of the house is extremely dirty and has visible household pest infestation we have the right to a) reschedule for a different time to accomodate the extended time to clean the house and other preparations and b) charge you a minimum service fee of $50 for one cleaner service or $80 for two cleaner service fee for coming to your house. We strongly recommend that you can be honest as possible about the condition of your property we are going to clean to avoid incurring these charges. 

7. Can you do Laundry?

Our onsite laundry service, inclusive of washing and folding, is available as an add-on at a flat rate of $30 per load. This single charge ensures simplicity and uniformity, eliminating separate pricing for wash and fold services.

During booking: Request the onsite laundry service during your house cleaning booking, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance for proper scheduling. Our customer service team will confirm availability and integrate the laundry service with your house cleaning appointment upon request.

Process: On the scheduled day, our cleaning team will handle both cleaning and laundry tasks. The $30 flat rate per load for onsite laundry will be added to the total bill for house cleaning services.

We will notify you of the completion of both cleaning and laundry tasks before our team departs. Any additional instructions or requests regarding the laundry service will be accommodated to the best of our ability.

8. What about dishes?

Dishwashing service is $20 per full dishwasher load. Overflowing items will require handwashing and are charged $20.

During booking: Clearly mention dishwashing availability during booking and confirm dishwasher loads and additional items.

Our Process: Cleaner will load items into the dishwasher without overflowing it and use dishwasher-safe detergent provided and follow manufacturer instructions or ask Homeowner for guidance.

Note: $20 handwashing charge is flat, regardless of item count, for simplicity.

We vet all our cleaning professionals through national criminal background check, reference check, face to face interview 

2. What happens if something goes wrong with the service?

If there is anything wrong with your appointment, we will be sure to make it right! Deep Blue Clean thrives on returning customers and referrals, so any mishaps are an opportunity for us to show integrity and excellent customer service!

If you believe anything to be broken or missing, please report within 72 hours.

3. Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

Our booking page is protected by extended validation SSL. Second, our booking form has its own layer of protection. Third, credit card transactions are processed by stripe and are layered on their own security protocol. Finally, no credit card numbers area stored in our system( only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured we take your security very seriously.

4. What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee?

If you are not completely satisfied with your cleaning, we will come out and reclean the affected area( within a 3 day window) . Just report the problem to us within 48 hours of cleaning .

5. What is your refund policy?

We don’t typically offer refunds. Our first option if you are not satisfied or there were a lot of areas missed and not clean properly is for us to reclean it and the second option will be to apply a credit to your future service.
